My name is Rob Frazer and I am a registered and experienced psychotherapist. On my website I have tried to answer common questions about psychotherapy and my approach towards it. If anything is unclear and you need further clarification then please feel free to phone or email me.

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist who works with adults and adolescents providing short-term, solution focused therapy, and traditional open ended non-directive psychoanalysis. I also work with couples providing marriage guidance and help with relationship issues in general.

I work with a wide variety of conditions, both long-standing and recent onset. These include anxiety, depression, anger, addiction, phobias, PTSD, childhood abuse/trauma, personality disorders and many more issues besides. Please contact me with your specific requirements to see if I am able to help.

Why Choose RAFT Counselling?
  • I have an upper class honours degree in psychology, a clinical MA in psychoanalysis and a post graduate diploma in CBT skills. I follow the BACP code of ethics and am a UKCP registered psychotherapist.
  • I have worked as a teacher, a youth worker, a residential carer in children's homes, a support worker for the homeless and many other related posts through agency work before training for five years as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
  • A course requirement for psychoanalytic training was that I had to be in twice weekly therapy for the five years I was on the course. This was an invaluable experience and means that I am very aware of the emotional ups and downs that undertaking psychotherapy can bring, but also the immeasurable benefits that come with a fuller understanding of who you are and why you behave as you do...
